You’d have to consider how low some of the optics could be and that the Red Dot Sight might get in the sight picture but so far I haven’t had much of that problem using combloc optics. The red dot’s should return to zero, I experimented a little with my Konus when it was on my SLR105 and later SLR107UR. I didn’t feel that either rifle was dead on after removing it but it can be hard to tell with an AK, and I did feel confident they held zero enough to still get hits at less than 300m. I would test more but these days I don’t remove the red dots from any of my rifles at all just to keep from messing with it.
